“Forever The Sickest Kids recently did an interview for tiger beat about their “secrets” “Tight bond with Selena” and “how to catch their eye on stage.” Personally, before I respected FTSK, they’re great musicians who care a lot about their fans and their music, I didn’t have a problem with them being friends with Selena because I don’t even know her, how am I to judge what kind of person she is? But just because she is a disney star does not mean you or they have to be like her! Yes we all care about meeting the band, seeing if they like us and hoping they do, but for all of us to act like little squealing five year olds in a candy store is just horrible, half of us just know about them because they read terribly written crap in a magazine training tomorrows call girls in order to feel good about themselves. I lost a lot respect for Jonathan when he said “J-14 is my favorite magazine” even if it was just for the camera, why would he say that. At first I thought it was, Then at bamboozle I met him again, and what was in his hand? The new issue of J-14, what respectable 14 year old reads that magazine? AND JONATHAN’S 25!!! But regardless of those facts I still love the band, not all people that read those magazines are stupid after all, but this. I can honestly say that I no longer respect his taste in music or (pop) culture, if I can respect him at all.”
